radiohead's ninth studio album, a moon shaped pool, was released digitally on 8 May 2016 on radiohead's website and online music stores. it was followed by physical versions on 17 june via xl recordings. it includes several songs written some years earlier, including "true love waits" along with strings and choral vocals performed by the london contemporary orchestra.
